Back-to-school season is not the only thing happening this coming June. There will also be a number of great festivals to look forward to (some of which are perfect for the long weekend of June 12-14). Here is one that you can celebrate in Cebu.
The town of Tudela, Camotes celebrates the cassava (sweet potato/kamoteng kahoy), a famous root crop, as well as their patroness Mary Immaculate.
Camotes Cassava Festival activities include: farmers and small businesses sell cassava-based items, cooking contests, cooking exhibitions, art contests, a beauty pageant, and a cultural night.
The Camotes Festival 2015 will happen from June 5 to June 12, 2015 at Tudela, Camotes.
