Tondol beach is best when the tide is low and the water is really shallow. The water recedes so much that you can walk to the nearby Tanduyong Island (almost a kilometer away)! Tondol beach’s shallow waters give it its family-friendly reputation, kids will enjoy the place! There are no deadly waves or undertow here, only sand and the quiet lapping of knee-high water. Kids will enjoy the little fish that gather around their legs and the starfish that dot the dunes.

If you’re looking for a real swim, you’d have to go farther into the ocean.
