Ask anyone who’s been to San Juan, La Union and they will always recommend Flotsam and Jetsam Hostel. Its kitchen bar is also popular among visitors, and although it’s become quite mainstream, this LU classic still offers a laid-back and peaceful vibe — the very same vibe that made us fall in love with it. Come by the kitchen bar during the night and chill by the sea, and if you want to take photos of the place, it’s more Instagrammable during the day.
