Not too far away from the Dragon’s Back is the Big Wave Bay Beach in Shek O, a popular destination among surfers and windsurfers. You can rent a surfboard at designated rental shops for a fee, and catch the waves during your visit. Another attraction in the area is a rock marked with prehistoric images of geometric figures and animals that are believed to be carved by the early inhabitants of the island. The carvings are preserved as a Declared Monument.

Directions: Take the MTR to Sau Kei Wan Station, Exit A3. Hop on Bus 9, which will stop at Big Wave Bay Beach.

3) Cycle the Nam Sang Wai Circuit
