Some of the must-see snow festivals include the Sapporo Snow Festival in Hokkaido — the largest snow festival of all of Japan, the Asahikawa Winter Festival in Hokkaido which contains Guinness World Record-holding ice sculptures, the Tokamachi Snow Festival in Niigata, and the Iwate Snow Festival in Iwate.
