It isn’t exactly the highest point in Taipei but the peak of Elephant Mountain grants visitors a great view nonetheless. Walk 20-minutes from Taipei 101 to reach the jump-off point, a small natural park with a hill and walking paths. From there, you can climb Elephant Mountain in 10-15 minutes and reach the summit of the hill by sunrise or sunset for the best views.
