Someday due to extreme global warming we might get to experience snow in our own country and then get to try snowboarding, but for now we’re confined to just sand. Sandboarding is very similar to snowboarding, the only difference is instead of snow-covered mountains, it takes place on sand dunes. Get a tour package that allows you to do unlimited sandboarding because the thrill of gliding downhill, and tripping, will make you want to try again and again.

Where to go sandboarding: La Paz Sand Dunes in Laoag City and Paoay Sand Dunes in Ilocos Norte

The cost: Average of Php 2500 per person inclusive of a 4×4 ride and unlimited sandboarding for 5-6 persons.

What else you can do: Since sandboarding almost always comes in a package with a ride, you can also ride a 4×4 or an ATV up the dunes and through the sandy plains. After the activity, you can visit the famous Bangui Windmills.
