After visiting the impressive fortress, you can walk for a minutes to get to this small but beautiful palace. Haenggung served as a temporary residence of the royal family in the event that they had to retreat because of an ongoing war. This is a nice place to take a leisurely stroll and appreciate Korean ancient architecture and because there are fewer tourists compared
