Another palace to add to your itinerary is Changgyeonggung; the Joseon Dynasty’s 4th ruler had the latter constructed for his father. The complex was the residence of concubines and queens during ancient times. Some of the places of interest inside are the Myeonjeongjeon (the king’s office), Okcheongyo Bridge and the Tongmyeongjeon (the queen’s building) just to name a few.
