Seeing pink? Your eyes are not tricking you. Calintaan Island is home to Sorsogon’s pink sand beaches – Subic Laki (where most visitors are concentrated) and Subic Liit. The combination of fine white sand and pulverized red coral resulted in the unique hue of the sand on these beaches.
Excellent for beachside camping, you can pitch a tent on the island or rent out a cottage for a small fee. During the day, take a boat ride to see the other visual wonders that Calintaan Island offers – from fascinating rock formations to a mysterious cave concealed by a blanket of greenery. You can even request your boatman to take you to an isolated island if you really want to spend your vacation in solitary.
