“I think primarily the reason why it’s important to travel is . . . to learn these things, so we can be a better part of the communities we belong in,” says Coach Joyce Pring, while Coach Kulas shares his observations while travelling, “Having been to seventy provinces, [I’ve seen that the Philippines is] such a diverse country, and when you give people a chance to see that diversity and to also connect their similarities and bring it all together, it just makes, in my opinion, the country a better place.”
