Second only to the city’s traffic jams, using public transport during the holiday season is just the worst. But don’t fret. You can now skip the endless lines in bus terminals and you book through Biyaheroes.
The Biyaheroes web app was launched earlier this year, initially enabling commuters to book bus tickets to most destinations north of Manila. Now they prep for the holidays but opening the service to bus trips to Quezon and boat trips to various destinations from Metro Manila as well. So whether you want to go soul-searching in Sagada or spend the holidays in the majestic Palawan, you can enjoy a hassle-free travel by directly booking through their website.
They charge PHP50 (about USD1) for bookings below PHP500 and a 10% service charge for bookings over PHP500. But hey, it’s a small price to pay for sure seats, right? You can pay thru credit/debit card via Paypal, 7Eleven, all major banks, and payment centers. And by booking, you can also earn points and claim a lot of freebies!
Biyaheroes has partnered with major bus lines in Manila such as JAC Liner for trips to/from Quezon and Marinduque; PARTAS for Abra, Ilocos, La Union, and Baguio via Laoag; and CODA Lines for direct Sagada, Bontoc, and Banaue.
They also have inter-provincial bus and boat partners like Lexxus Shuttle for Puerto Princesa to/from El Nido, Sabang (Underground River), and even Port Barton; Bunso Transport, a transport vessel servicing Coron to/from Mindoro and El Nido; and Davao Metro Shuttle for Tagum to/from Abreeza Mall in Davao.
