A very popular place for both locals and tourists, the L.A. Bakeshop is your go to place for cheese bread. The cheese bread’s so good, this pit stop is a destination in itself.

Kahel de Luna is home to the smallest and most colorful Ilocano empanada. On your drive up north, stop by even just to take photos (but really, try them). They also serve seafood, Italian and Asian dishes.
