5 Places to Try Stand-Up Paddleboarding in the Philippines
Keep calm and paddle on.

Stand-up paddleboarding or SUP is one of the fastest growing water sports worldwide.
Instead of riding the waves, stand-up paddle boarders have to maintain an upright stance and use a paddle to propel themselves through relatively calm bodies of water.
It’s a sport with a very easy learning curve and probably one of the most relaxing activities you can do while getting your core worked out at the same time. SUP can be done in many places around the country — places where the water is calm such as beaches, rivers, lagoons, and lakes.
Here are just five scenic destinations to try it out.
Bohol
Loboc River in Bohol is one of the best places you can try stand-up paddleboarding in the country. SUP Tours, the pioneer of SUP touring around the Philippines offers several tours here, ranging from one-hour, half-day, whole-day and even night rides that let you go firefly-watching. Guests get to paddle across the Loboc River, one of the biggest rivers on the island, experience Boholano culture and pass through stunning natural scenery while gliding on the water.
