Most couples wait a few months before traveling together, but when Megan Young and Mikael Daez went on their first trip, they had just been officially dating for four days.

When they booked the trip (with two other friends), they were just friends who jumped at the chance to get cheap round-trip tickets to Hong Kong on a seat sale. But by the time their departure date rolled around in January 2011, their dynamic had completely transformed.

“We had a girlfriend-boyfriend honeymoon,” Mikael quips.
