Tucked away in a quiet fishing village in Tambobong Beach, Pangasinan, this elegant boutique resort has got everything you need: stellar service, great amenities, beach, waves, sun, and all the peace and quiet you’ll want. Sirom Beach House is owned by brothers Amadeus Baraan (Grandeur Traveler) and Francis Baraan IV. A pair of avid travelers who dreamt of building a one-of-a-kind resort inspired by the many places they’ve visited.
Sirom officially opened its doors in April 2018 and since then has welcomed countless visitors, a mix of people from all walks of life — influencers, celebrities, foreigners. Whoever you may be, Sirom Beach House has got something for you.
A dream made into reality

The Baraan brothers are avid travelers. Before this pandemic grounded everyone in place, they often set out to seek adventures of their own. During these travels, they regard choosing where to stay as a vital part of the trip. After all, your level of comfort might spell out the rest of the trip. This is why hospitality and great service were the top priorities they had in building Sirom Beach House. They wanted future guests to experience what they themselves are looking for in a great hotel.
“With absolute certainty, the hospitality industry as a whole itself inspired me to build our own property,” shares Amadeus. “We did not build Sirom because we could. We built it because wanted to be part of the magic of tourism.”

“It’s an amalgamation of all our passions, interior design, architecture, travel, luxury hotels. So this is… a combination of everything that we love,” adds Francis.
Sirom’s features were inspired by Bali and Tulum Mexico’s breezy beach house architecture. It was a combination of everything they loved from all the tropical places they’ve visited. Organic design elements were adopted through local materials such as cogon. The entire place has a bohemian vibe, a signature characteristic of beachfront resorts. Sirom wasn’t meant to be formal and modern like hotels, it was meant to be cozy without sacrificing luxury.
“Sirom is a boutique property with a heart,” says Amadeus when asked about what makes the beach house a cut above the rest. He shares that it’s the people working to run the place and provide their best in hospitality that makes any stay memorable. On top of that, the Baraan brothers themselves are often around to welcome guests and provide everything they need. It isn’t just a business, it’s an experience.
Sirom Beach House wants you to appreciate local beauty

But more than simply become a part of “the magic of tourism”, the brothers intended Sirom Beach House to help promote local tourism, local craftsmanship, and the beauty of the Philippines. Francis says that one of their goals was to have foreigners from all over the world fly to the Philippines, discover it’s beauty, and fall in love with it. The beauty of Sirom Beach House will give them a push in that direction.
Amadeus shares that they hired local people and artisans to do some of the work at the beach house and to help with the design process. To highlight local craftsmanship, most of the materials are from Pangasinan. Each corner of Sirom has an artistic personal touch and if you’re looking for something Instagrammable, you’ve come to the right place.

How Sirom Beach House is braving the pandemic

With tourism being one of the hard-hit industries in the wake of the pandemic, Sirom has faced its own challenges. Before they continued operations, they doubled down on ensuring the safety of their guests and staff. COVID-19 prevention measures are put in place to be strictly followed. These include wearing of face masks for personnel and guests and regular sanitation of the place using ultraviolet light equipment. As of Sept. 20, Dasol remains the only municipality in Pangasinan that’s COVID-19 free and the LGU would like to keep it that way.
