This extended lockdown may have derailed many of our plans, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t celebrate milestones anymore. The Den in Batangas is the perfect place for small celebrations such as intimate weddings, but can also be a great place to retreat to when you simply need to get away from it all.

Den Vacation House

Located in Alitagtag, Batangas, The Den was designed to be a family getaway from the metro, and it certainly delivers. It has a gorgeous one-hectare garden that’s exclusive to guests, so you can soak up the sights in peace.

You could spend your days here just doing nothing, but there are also plenty of things to do: you could swim in the pool and lounge in the jacuzzi; you could try your hand in archery; jump on the trampoline; play board games; watch movies with their projector; play billiards, foosball, air hockey; the list goes on and on! There isn’t any WiFi at the Airbnb (though some areas do have strong cell phone reception), but with so many things to do, who needs the internet?

The pool has a gorgeous view of Mt. Maculot.

The pavilion is the perfect place to bond with loved ones.

Accommodations

The Den has two cottages, and each can accommodate up to five guests. The cottages can be booked separately, but even if you book just one cottage, you’d still have the entire place to yourself — The Den only takes private bookings.

Cottage 1 has a queen bed, a loft bed, and a private bathroom. It’s got a traditional Filipino design, with rattan furniture, capiz lighting, and capiz windows.

Villa 2 has a more modern aesthetic, but it’s also got that cozy cabin vibe. It’s got a canopy bed, a loft bed, a private bathroom, and a kitchen as well.

Events

The stay also has a small glass chapel, which makes it perfect for intimate weddings and prenup pictorials. The Den allows intimate weddings for 25 pax, as well as debut and birthday parties for 15 pax.
