Batangas is one of the go-to destinations for people living in Metro Manila, and for good reasons. Known for its beautiful beaches, breathtaking diving spots, mouthwatering cuisine, and other fun activities, Batangas offers unforgettable experiences for locals and tourists alike. So, if city life is starting to stress you out, head over to Kahilom Campsite in Batangas for a healthy dose of vitamin sea.

Kahilom Campsite

Located at Calayo Cove, Nasugbu, Batangas, Kahilom Campsite is a peaceful haven where you can rest and recharge. Whether you’re traveling solo or as a group, this beach resort is the perfect place to set up camp and unwind at prices that won’t break the bank. You can even bring your pets with you (as long as they’re small).

If you have your own tent, you can pitch it within the campsite for free. All you need to pay is the entrance fee at Php 200 (for a day tour) or Php 300 (for an overnight stay) per head.

You can also rent an ordinary tent for Php 300 (good for two persons) or a Coleman dome tent at Php 1,500 which can accommodate six persons. The Coleman dome tent also comes with a banig inside.

Feel the rural and rustic vibes of airy kubo houses

If sleeping inside a tent is not your cup of tea, Kahilom Campsite also has kubo houses at affordable rates. The small ones cost Php 2,500 per night and can accommodate up to three persons. The larger A-frame kubo houses cost Php 4,000 per night and can accommodate up to six persons. The entrance fee is waived for two persons if you choose the small kubo, and for four persons if you choose the A-frame kubo. All kubo houses are furnished with fans, mattresses, and banig.

For the ultimate camping experience, you can bring your own food and drinks at no extra charge. The resort also has a grill that you can use for free. If you prefer not to cook, no worries. There are stores nearby that sell delicious meals at affordable prices.

Food and drinks

If the heat of the sun gets too much, Kahilom Campsite has bamboo pergolas where you can chill and enjoy your food and drinks. Tables and chairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You can use the pergolas for free if your group has 10 or more people. Otherwise, you will have to pay the rental fee of Php 1,000.

Make sure you bring your own utensils, cooking tools, pillows, and blankets because they are not available at the resort. Also note that the resort only has common restrooms.

Kahilom Campsite is the ideal place to disconnect from your daily life and reconnect with nature. Cellphone signal is weak, but who needs it when there is a picturesque beach right in front of you?

You can book your stay and find the latest updates through Kahilom Campsite’s official Facebook page. You can also check them out on Instagram.
