Are you on the hunt for a nature experience without driving too far from the metro? For the times you wish to escape the city, go back to basics and embrace nature at Camp Jony in Rizal:

Camp Jony

If you’re the type to enjoy a simple staycation where you can just laze around, relax in nature, and enjoy the company of friends and family, Camp Jony in Antipolo is worth bookmarking. This rural campsite is set on farmland where you’ll be surrounded by trees, farm animals, and crops. Dreaming of owning land in the province and living a simple life? Camp Jony will let you experience rural life and much more.

There are two casas at Camp Jony, both of which are designed to look like a traditional bahay kubo that’s made of bamboo and nipa. One would easily feel the nostalgia just from the accommodation because you’ll be transported to simpler times. If you’re bringing children, it will also be a great opportunity for them to learn about rural life and make nature their playground.

Treat the casa as your home away from home. It’s equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay, including an outdoor kitchen and a traditional cooking area. Since it’s a campsite, you’ll experience what it’s like to cook meals with wood at the grill!

The houses are made entirely of bamboo, from their floors and walls, which also means that it’ll be cool throughout the day. There are lounging areas around the casa too, such as a spacious veranda with rocking chairs or a hammock.

On hot days, cool off in a tub overlooking the farmland.

There are plenty of spaces to explore around the campsite too, including this bamboo trail and tranquil lounging area under trees.
