When thinking of places with swimming pools in Laguna, Pansol is often the first thing that comes to mind. After all, we have fond childhood memories of summer outings with the family or memorable team buildings with colleagues at work. But on the other side of Laguna is the underrated San Pablo. There, you’ll find a humble bed and breakfast, Casa San Pablo, and they just revamped one of their amenities for a more memorable stay:
Casa San Pablo’s The Starry Night Pool
Rustic and charming Casa San Pablo is the perfect getaway for folks who want to rest and recharge away from the city. Just looking at the property, you know you’ll feel relaxed in this setting, even if you’re just visiting for a meal or coffee. This family-owned gem in Laguna’s ideal for all types of vacationers – even those needing some solitude would find solace here.
From an in-house cafe to charming private rooms, the bed and breakfast offer plenty of amenities for guests, including this their newly-revamped swimming pool. Access to the pool was previously only exclusive to checked-in guests, but it’s now open for day tours.
Ever wondered what it’s like to swim in artwork? Casa San Pablo’s artsy pool is now open for bookings, as shared on their Facebook post. Inspired by Van Gogh’s The Starry Night, it’s definitely an addition to one of the picture-worthy spots around the property.
How much will it cost?
Casa San Pablo has two offerings for day guests who want to swim in the artsy pool.
For PHP 500 per head, the Escape Package includes swimming privileges, use of the club lounge, lunch, and a snack.
If you’re working on a budget, you can go for the Dip and Go Package, which includes swimming privileges for five hours for PHP 500 for two people. Outside food and drinks are not allowed, but you have the option to dine at the in-house cafe.
Since slots are limited, the owners recommend booking a slot before your visit.
How to get there
If you’re driving, simply input “Casa San Pablo” on Waze or Google Maps. The B&B is commute-friendly too. From Manila, take a bus going to Lucena and ask to be dropped off at San Pablo Medical Center, with Chowking as a nearby landmark. Then, ride a tricycle to Kay Inay Resort, which is across from the Community Hospital. Casa San Pablo is located inside Kay Inay Resort.
