In 2016, Panasonic unveiled Waterfront, a concept suite that lets passengers utilize their phones to control an aircraft’s built-in services. It includes controlling the temperature and lighting in your position in the aircraft, adjusting your seat, and even setting a wake-up call with the convenience of your smartphone. It also lets you control the aircraft’s in-flight entertainment system which can determine your preferences and which part of the film you were watching in your previous flight you had stopped at.
