ATTN: Joseph Gordon-Levitt Wants You to Send Photos of the Philippines for a Project

Do you have beautiful photos of the Philippines?
by | August 20, 2020

Late last month, American actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt asked Filipinos to participate in a couple of his projects. On Jul. 29 he called for those interested in voice acting to read a word in Tagalog. On Aug. 14, he asked Filipino writers to write a few lines about a beautiful picture taken in Donsol, Sorsogon. If you didn’t have time to submit for the first two prompts, his newest project might work for you.

On Monday, the 500 Days of Summer star once again took to his Facebook page to ask Filipinos to share their beautiful photos taken in the Philippines. “Any photo works, as long as it’s one you’re proud of,” he wrote. He accompanied it with a stunning capture of a sunset over the sea.

Those interested in participating can upload their photos on HitRecord’s website. Entries on the Philippines’ stunning white sand beaches, the abundance of waterfalls, and beautiful cityscapes have already been submitted.

The actor is yet to share the results of the various projects. He has also been calling for submissions in other countries like Mexico, Portugal, Brazil, among others so it’s safe to assume that the final output will be beautiful glimpses of creativity around the world.

All the projects are under HitRecord, a collaborative online production community started by Gordon-Levitt himself in 2010. Browse through their website and you’ll be greeted with more creative and exiting prompts.
