The holidays are just right around the corner. As more Filipinos get the jab, more are looking into finally reuniting with loved ones over the holidays and if your family has already started making holiday plans, this modern house in Batangas is worth adding to your list.

A staycation at Balkonahe

Perched 2,000 meters above sea level, Balkonahe is a stunning modern home designed for groups who want to reunite with loved ones and be immersed in nature. It’s located in the middle of a forest Miranda, Talisay, offering an unobstructed view of Tagaytay’s ridges, Taal Lake, and twinkling lights from residential homes at night. Balkonahe is the ideal place for escaping where the usual crowd is – a private space to make new memories with your family.

If you’re a sucker for a good nature view, be ready for the scenery this home offers. Large floor-to-ceiling glass doors surround common spaces like the kitchen, where you’ll easily see nature and enjoy the cool breeze.

The kitchen is already fully equipped and you don’t have to worry about bringing ingredients for your best dishes. Balkonahe is nearby Talisay’s wet market, which is open from 6 AM – 10 AM.

At Balkonahe, you can wake up to a stunning sunrise at Taal Lake. The house has three bedrooms; one of which has a floor-to-ceiling glass door leading to a balcony. Twelve guests can be accommodated comfortably in the house but can be maxed out to 15 guests, as long as they’re aged 10 years and below. An additional P500 will be charged for extras.

The spacious balcony also has some tables and chairs already set up, perfect for soaking in the view and stargazing.

Since the house is built on a hill, more areas for lounging can be found when you walk down the backyard. If you missed a summer outing this year, it’s never too late to have it – there’s an infinity pool overlooking Taal Lake.
