Take a breather from your wired life.

5. Kayangan Lake in Coron, Palawan
Surrounded by steep limestone cliffs, you’ll reach this wondrous lake after a quick 10-minute hike. The water here is incredibly clear that you can see the bottom even if it’s 10-feet deep. No wonder it’s been dubbed the cleanest lake in Asia.
One can stay here for a refreshing swim (don’t worry, because there’s a wooden walkway platform where you can leave your things) or just have a quiet time while admiring the scenic and relaxing environment.
6. Mount Pinatubo Crater Lake in Zambales
The lake is formed after Mt. Pinatubo’s eruption last June 1991. How’s that for a beautiful disaster? It’s named as the deepest lake in the Philippines and while the water is not ideal for swimming (it’s very tempting because of the clear blue waters) the view is absolutely worth checking out.
A lot of newbie hikers go here for an easy trek because the trail is along a relatively flat and dry terrain. The 4×4 off-road adventure from the base camp is also a bonus to the adventure!
7. Lake Sebu in South Cotabato
A two-hour drive from General Santos City will take you to this town, named after the lake itself. It’s known for its stunning stretch of water, which is dotted with pink, lotus flowers, but it’s also becoming a go-to spot for adventure junkies because of the 7 Falls Zipline Adventure. The zipline, which is 700 meters high and 400 meters long, is arguably the most scenic and picturesque in the country.
8. Twin Lakes of Balinsasayao and Danao (Sibulan, Negros Oriental)
When in Negros Oriental, one shouldn’t miss kayaking in these two pristine lakes. The water is so clear that it reflects the greenery of the surrounding forest. While the view of the lakes is good enough reason to visit, there are also activities which could make your day more fun. Here you can also free dive (it’s about 80 meters deep), snorkel and paddle boat.
