Get some peace and quiet in the mountains.
by Ina Louise Manto | December 04, 2023
Baguio remains one of the top tourist destinations in the country, especially now that travel time to the highlands has been cut to fewer hours. However, it can be crowded during a long weekend or the holidays. If you plan to drive to the highlands this season, take a break from the usual hotels and find a little sanctuary in a more peaceful city area. Find out what awaits at Cabin Call:
Cabin Call
Nestled in a private subdivision 15-20 minutes from the city, Cabin Call is a spacious loft boasting a stylish and modern design. It suits tourists who wish to experience colder weather but want to escape the rush of the crowd. Simply put, this cabin is perfect for those who wish to get away from it all and enjoy silence for a few days.
Cabin Call accommodates more than 16 guests, which makes it ideal for family reunions and group travels. There’s nothing quite like retreating to the highlands to spend quality and relaxing time with the people you hold dear.
The cabin’s interior is bright and clean and feels more spacious with the huge windows in its common areas. It has a fully equipped kitchen, so all you have to do is bring ingredients to whip up hearty meals.
A cozy living area can also be found in one corner, with the addition of a fireplace. Turn off the lights at night and have a movie marathon, as there’s a projector with Netflix in the living area.
Bedrooms
You’ll find two bedrooms at Cabin Call. The master bedroom features huge glass windows that will let you appreciate the surrounding forest view and a full bathroom with a bathtub.
The second room is ideal for four guests.
Loft
Located right above the common areas is a spacious loft that has more sleeping arrangements. This is perfect if you’re traveling with kids as it has bunk beds and bean bags – it’ll feel like a huge sleepover for them.
Outdoor amenities
Aside from its chic indoor spaces, Cabin Call has outdoor spaces that will make your stay even more relaxing. You’ll find a veranda with lounge chairs and a jacuzzi beside the house. The highland weather will be chilly, but the heated tub should keep you feeling relaxed and warm.
When it’s late at night, stay warm, toasty by the bonfire, and make smores.
Cabin Call also has an outdoor grill with a dining area perfect for a fun cookout.
