*When: January-Early February
Surprise, surprise — you can also view cherry blossoms in the Land of Smiles! Tucked in the mountainous region of northern Thailand is Khun Chang Khian, an agriculture research center operated by the Agricultural Faculty of Chiang Mai University, where over a hundred wild Himalayan cherry trees — nicknamed “Tiger Queen” cherry trees in Thai — are planted. Come between mid-January and February to catch bright bursts of pink in the midst of a verdant landscape.
