The concept seems similar to the wildly popular Museum of Ice Cream, a “made-for-Instagram” museum which started in Manhattan, New York City. Interactive museums and quirky art installations that offer immersive experiences like Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrored Room and the Rain Room at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) have become a hit with millennials looking for new destinations to up their Instagram game.
