Chongqing may be a bustling and sprawling urban jungle, but it has managed to preserve some of its ancient towns. One of the places to visit during your stay is Ciqikou; many of the houses in the latter date back centuries, the Qing and Ming Dynasties. There are a number of studios of artists, tea bars, and workshops. The old town has narrow alleys, quaint shops and restaurants, and red lanterns hanging overhead.

Entrance Fee: free (except for some places in the town)
