Here’s A Reminder of the Beauty of the Notre Dame Cathedral

Enduring charm and legacy are still intact.

This recent tragedy that’s fallen upon the cathedral isn’t the first, as the Notre Dame was able to survive past devastation. The cathedral suffered major damages during the French Revolution, with statues and holy images that were deemed “idolatrous” being destroyed by French protesters. These statues were later found and restored. Notre Dame also survived the two World Wars, being front-and-center during the liberation of Paris after the Second World War.
