Where to stay in El Nido?
by Rai Mamac | May 19, 2016
It’s no secret that El Nido, Palawan is one of (if not) the most breath-taking places in the world. If you’re planning a vacation in this area of CNN Traveler’s Top 1 Island and still don’t know where to stay, here are some recommendations!
Vellago Resort
Located in Seven Commandos’ Beach, which is considered to be one of the highlights in El Nido’s island tours, Vellago Resort ensures privacy and luxury as it only has four room’s property. This means that if you do stay here, you will be one of only a maximum of eight guests at a time.
A night for two in this beautiful beach resort will cost you anywhere between PHP16,000 and PHP19,000, which might be a little bit on the pricey side, but it’s definitely worth the buck.

The Resort Bayview Hotel
This hilltop resort welcomes you with a gorgeous staircase leading up to the main building. Housing only 20 rooms in the entire property, this is the slightly less exclusive option for those looking to spend between PHP5,000 and PHP10,000 for two per night.
The Resort Bayview Hotel offers three types of rooms: the Forest View Suite, Bayview Suite, and the Family Room, which is good for four people.
The resort boasts a picture-perfect sunset view of Bacuit Bay.

Spin Designer Hostel
This one tops our most instagrammable list. Situated right beside a mangrove forest in El Nido, the Spin Designer Hostel is unlike any of the other local hotels in that it features unique, stylish design aside from the customary personalized service, comfortable accommodations, and enjoyable ambience.
The hostel has lots of common areas for guests to mingle with their fellow travelers, as well as mini-events every now and then.
Twin rooms with private bathrooms cost around PHP2,400, while private single rooms start at PHP2,300. On the other hand, a bed in a four-bed dormitory set-up starts at PHP830.

They only have seven rooms in the entire establishment — five cottages and two villas, each good for five people and costing around PHP10,000 to PHP16,000.
Qi Palawan takes pride in their location at the East Coast of El Nido. Being the only resort in the area, the experience in this hotel is exclusive and luxurious, with Qi Palawan’s guests enjoying tours to deserted beaches.

The Cottage Villa, specifically designed for couples, is priced at PHP5,250. On the other hand, the Privacy and Pool Villas, which both contain king-sized beds and a deck facing Bacuit Bay is priced at PHP6,450.00.
