Koh Phangan has a reputation for its dangerous roads and vehicle crashes. Among travelers, if you’ve got a scratch or burn from an accident on the road, it’s even called the Koh Phangan Tattoo. At night, there will be taxis, motorbikes and many other vehicle going to and from different parts of the island. If you can, stay well clear to avoid any accidents. Almost every party there is one, better not be you!
