Summertime isn’t just for going out in the sun and getting a tan at the beach — it’s also perfect for activities like camping. You don’t even have to drive far or go hiking to enjoy camping! Just a two-hour drive from the Metro, this hidden campsite will be the perfect venue to experience a relaxing getaway with friends or family.
John Gil’s Secret Place
Just a 15-minute drive from Tagaytay, John Gil’s Secret Place is a newly-opened campsite in Amadeo, Cavite. It’s the ideal place to experience summer camping with friends or family for a night of laughter and good music while huddled around a cozy bonfire and surrounded by a starry sky.
Unlike other campsites, staying at this Secret Place means you’ll have the property all to yourself, so don’t worry about your safety. For just P1,500 a night, a group of up to six persons can enjoy a transient house with a queen-sized bed, television, refrigerator, kitchen, and dining table.
The camping grounds have a native kubo, grilling area, hammock, and a bonfire pit.
Don’t worry if you don’t have tents, two are already included in the fee.

Camping stove burners are used for cooking, and guests are expected to bring their own butane. Camping gear, food, drinks, and toiletries are also to be brought by guests.
The weather can get chilly at night, which calls for a fun time around the bonfire. Bring instruments, prepare food for grilling, and make new memories at this quaint campsite!
John Gil’s Secret Place is located in Brgy. Halang Purok 7, Amadeo, Cavite.
