La Serene Private Resort 

Nestled in the town of Magalang in Pampanga, La Serene offers a relaxing hideaway without driving too far from the metro. It’ll take just two hours on the road, given there won’t be traffic, and you’ll find yourself a picturesque home away from home.

This exclusive resort is an ideal venue whether you’re visiting with your immediate family members or the whole angkan, now that the holidays are upcoming. According to their page, La Serene can hold an intimate party with up to 25 pax. An additional payment of P399 will be charged per head in excess of 15 guests. 

There are two bedrooms in the resort, both of which have an overlooking pool view. It has sliding glass doors letting lots of sunlight in, which makes the spaces look and feel brighter and cozier. The Master’s Suite has two queen-sized beds while the Family Suite has two double-sized bunk beds. They can also be rented separately, depending on the package that you’re getting.

La Serene’s common spaces don’t skimp on style as well. Sharing one floor, you’ll find a chic living area that goes all the way to the dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. 

Outdoor spaces 

You’d probably spend more time outdoors during your stay especially if you’re setting up for celebrations with your family. La Serene has an inviting 35 sqm pool with a 7 sqm jacuzzi-type pool to make the staycation more fun. The weather during the Ber months can get chilly but it’s still as hot and humid during the daytime, so the exclusive pools are perfect. 

Located just beside the pool area are an equipped outdoor kitchen, a charcoal griller, and a lounging room with seats and videoke. In between swimming, have a fun videoke competition with your family!
