Now that we’re out and about again, the days are going by so fast that it’s sometimes difficult to catch up. So when you catch yourself in need of a break, bookmark Laiban Bamboo Forest and find yourself in an off-grid hideaway in Rizal:
Laiban Bamboo Forest
Nestled in an off-grid area in Tanay, Rizal, Laiban Bamboo Forest offers its guests a peaceful retreat that starts with a fun adventure. Guests are given the option to go for a 30 to 40-minute hike to the house or take the 4×4 service vehicle.
Whichever you choose, it will be worth it as you’ll be completely away from the hubbub of the city. It’s like going back to the basics – a simple home that runs on solar panels and gets its water from a nearby spring.
Laiban Bamboo Forest is a two-floor bamboo house that can be rented in two ways. Its first floor is ideal for small groups or families with five members, or you can rent the entire house exclusively, which can accommodate up to 15 people.
Guests staying on the second floor will sleep in one open space; it’s going to remind you of childhood sleepovers with your cousins!
It also has a balcony with a panoramic view of mountains and surrounding forests. The sky is probably clear in this area especially at night, which is perfect for some stargazing.
You’ll find common areas such as the equipped kitchen and dining area on the first floor. A bedroom is located here as well.
When the weather gets too hot, cool off at the small plunge pool in front of the house or enjoy the cool breeze on the veranda while staring at the scenic mountain view.
