A side trip to the Gili Islands is highly recommended. Trawang, Air, and Meno are popular destinations for foreign visitors because of the beaches, diving and snorkeling opportunities, and of course parties and romantic spots. It has a bit of everything for tourists with different tastes and interests. There are many public boats that travel from mainland Lombok to Gili Trawangan.
