Towering over the island at around 3,700 meters, Mount Rinjani is a popular eco-adventure destination for visitors. The trek starts flat then ascends towards the crater-lake. The most challenging part of the trip is the final ascent to the summit, where you’ll be walking on loose rock, pebble, and dirt. The view from above is nothing short of spectacular as you’ll see the mouth of the volcano, different types of flora and beautiful views overlooking Lombok.
