Most would say a cup of coffee is enough to satisfy them, but what if you could make it better? That is, with some fresh breeze of air and a majestic view. Plenty of new cafes with great views have been popping up, but there hasn’t been one yet that offers the experience of enjoying your coffee literally on the road, surrounded by the beauty of nature. And that’s exactly what the Lost Ranger Cafe is all about.
Are you a lost ranger?
The Lost Ranger Cafe is a mobile cafe built within the confines of a pick-up truck. Owners Andrea Ruiz and Rabbie Lumboy, who both used to work as baristas overseas, both love adventure, which led to their decision to set up a coffee shop that could take them places. Literally.
Everything the Lost Ranger Cafe staff needs in a cafe is stored at the back of the pick-up truck, and when they’ve found a spot, they start bringing out the tables, chairs, canopy, and yes, even their kitchen out of the truck. This week, they decided to set up shop at Pinak, Paligui, Candaba, Pampanga, overlooking a glorious view of Mount Arayat.
Sunsets are proof that endings can often be beautiful too. ❤️😍
Tomorrow morning is another day! 😊
5am to 8am po tayo…
The small mobile kitchen is right on top of the bed of the pick-up truck. They put up a faux grass board with quirky coffee-centric wall decor surrounding their chalkboard menu. The espresso machine, coffee maker, and mixers all go on top of the makeshift countertop, while other ingredients like syrup and powder are placed on portable shelves around the set-up. If it wasn’t for the truck’s rear lights, it’d look just like a corner of a quirky cafe.
From the makeshift kitchen, they’d roll out the canopy and set up wooden-style tables and stools. The rustic look matches the surrounding beauty of nature perfectly, so you could really kick back, relax, and simply enjoy your coffee.
Good morning! ☀️😊
