A Taiwanese breakfast favorite, youtiao is basically a deep-fried dough stick that resembles a churro. It can be eaten alone or as a filling of a flatbread called shao bing, and is best paired with soy milk.
Where to get it: You’ll find youtiao in local Taiwanese breakfast joints. They are often displayed on wire racks or in wire baskets.
