Topping the rest of the cities analyzed by Mercer is Vienna. From low crime rates to a comprehensive healthcare system to affordable housing (by European standards, at least), the Austrian capital ticks all the boxes of the perfect place to live in. It’s also brimming with art, history, culture, and culinary delights that make the daily lives of Viennese a tad lot more gratifying. Perhaps, just like how that Billy Joel song goes… Vienna waits for you.
