If you’re looking for a good selection of local and international craft beer, this is the place to visit! Ken’s Place is a great new bar right next to Alona Pawikan, a resort with cozy native bungalows walking distance to Alona Beach, but with a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere.

Ken’s Place has a Japanese menu and vegan options rather than the usual beach fare and carries bottled variants of Filipino craft beer sourced from all over the Philippines. As a tribute to Bohol icons, I had a bottle of Tarsier Wheat Bear from Crazy Carabao Brewing Co., Chocolate Hills Porter and the Big Eye-Pa Double IPA from the Cebu-based The Cebruery during my visit. The place has a very friendly vibe for both expats and tourists. Highly recommended for craft beer lovers!

Ken’s Place. Ester A Lim Drive, Panglao Island, Bohol.
