Located in Takinoue Town, a town known for growing different herbs (most especially the peppermint herb), Takinoue Park is famous for its abundance in (pink moss phloxes) Shibazakura flowers that spread throughout the 100, 000 square meters park. One of the most sought after events in the area is the Takinoue Park Shibazakura Festival, which is held in May.
