White sand and black sand beaches aren’t new, but a purple sand beach? This you’ve got to see! They say that Pfeiffer Beach in Big Sur is hard to find if you’ve never been before, but one must locate the unmarked Sycamore Canyon Road to get to the beach. The beach got its purple sand through the manganese garnet particles that were washed down the hillside.
Which ones have you been to and which ones would you want to see? Tell us in the comments!
