No outlet mall has received much hype of late as much as Acienda Designer Outlet did. Word about this 20-hectare shopping complex spread earlier this year, and in October, it finally opened its gates to shopaholics and avid sale hunters. Strategically located near popular holiday destination Tagaytay, this shoppers’ paradise with a quaint European town set-up is tagged as the first true outlet mall in the country that carries premium brands (discounted Nike and Onitsuka Tiger kicks anyone?). As a new player in the outlet shopping scene, it currently has just a little over a dozen stores open, though they will be opening more soon.
