This temple by the beach is said to be one of seven from the 7th century. It is one of the most long-standing stone temples in India. One of the submerged towers can be seen from a boat as well.
My trip to the cities of South India is certainly a refreshing experience. They have a street art movement, particularly in Chennai and Pondicherry that makes a simple walk around the cities colorful and fascinating. For more mobility around the cities, renting a scooter is cheap. It’s also nice to try out the local foods sold around commercial areas. South India is a land of historical monuments and scenic sunsets along its long stretches of beach. It’s important to experience the rich culture while you’re there.
