Isdaan Floating Restaurant
Located in the municipality of Bay, Laguna, Isdaan Floating Restaurant is a dining experience you wouldn’t want to miss. Theme parks aren’t generally known for the grub, but this floating restaurant promises to give you the best of both worlds. It’s definitely more than just a park or restaurant — it’s a place to enjoy and build new memories with friends and family.

Entering its grounds, you’ll feel like you just traveled to Thailand without paying for expensive plane tickets. Isdaan is known for its Thai and Pinoy inspired design, seen in the gigantic Thai-inspired statues you can see from afar and the classic floating kubos. It’s a treat for those who enjoy both good food and spots to post for the gram.

The food
This themed restaurant is under the same owners of Barrio Fiesta, so expect that the Pinoy dishes served here are surely worth the wait. Some of their best sellers include Barrio Fiesta’s famous crispy pata, pork adobo, fried Lapu-Lapu, and spicy crab.

All are served on a spread of banana leaves, to highlight the classic Pinoy kamayan eating experience. Do add some side dishes like salted egg, bagoong, ensalada, and sliced green mangoes, and you might find yourself having extra servings of rice.
Activities
Other than scrumptious Pinoy dishes, visitors get to enjoy entertainment and activities in Isdaan. There are performances around lunchtime, with live music, magic, and acrobatics.

Floating kubos are already unique but did you know that you can go on boat rides to see the whole place? The boat rides are for free! Guests can also ride bikes, go fishing, or feed the fish.

If you have pent up feelings or just want to lash out, visit their Tacsiyapo, the Kapampangan word for having no shame, wall where you can smash ceramic plates and mugs. The wall is painted with possible reasons why you’re mad, and make sure to aim well.

How to get there
If you’re commuting g, take a bus to Sta. Cruz, Laguna and ask to be dropped off at Idaan Floating Restaurant. If you’re driving, enter “Isdaan Floating Restaurant” on Google Maps or Waze.
Isdaan Floating Restaurant also has branches in Talavera, Nueva Ecija, and Gerona, Tarlac. They’re temporarily closed due to the ongoing pandemic but you can follow their page or visit their official website for updates.
