While the perfect surfing conditions do not last all-year round, a surf season here can last up to numerous months. Compared to other surfing spots in the Philippines, the sands in this crescent-shaped beach are lighter in color and the water appears bluer. While waiting for the swells to arrive, one can challenge the local kids on a skimboarding competition – another popular activity here. Adventure activities such as flying on a small biplane over the waters of Dahican, is also offered here. There is also a nearby sea turtle hatchery conservation place for you to check out if you chance upon the egg hatching season.
