HBO’s The White Lotus is back for its third season. With a new destination and BLACKPINK Lisa’s much-awaited acting debut, fans are more excited than ever.

The brand-new season occurs in one of Thailand’s most popular islands, Koh Samui. If you’re a fan who wants to experience the luxury of a tropical holiday in Thailand, we’ve listed these The White Lotus Season 3 filming locations:

Filming locations in Koh Samui

Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui

There’s no wonder why the new season takes place at the same hotel property. Seasons one and two were filmed at Four Seasons properties in Hawaii and Sicily, respectively.

With villas to four-bedroom residences to choose from, Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui treats its guests to the best of both worlds: a lush surrounding forest and an idyllic view of the Gulf of Siam. Guests who are fans of the show can also choose from a number of The White Lotus-themed packages, which you can learn more about here.

Singing Bird Lounge, Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort

Scenes at The White Lotus bar were filmed in another luxurious resort, Anantara Lawana Koh Samui Resort. The bar is located at Anantara Lawana’s Singing Bird Lounge, which also treats guests to the best seats on one of Thailand’s most famous beaches. The lounge is a nod to Koh Samui’s bird singing contests, which is a popular activity in the southern area of the country.

Fun fact: The Singing Bird Lounge is located within Tree Tops restaurant, which is built around a 120-year-old tree on the property.

Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort

Another Anantara property is featured at The White Lotus: Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort. The hotel’s lobby, jewelry store, security station, and driveway were filmed here.

If you’re looking for a resort near the airport, this luxurious property is just 15 minutes away. It’s also near the Fisherman’s Village, known as a night-walking street with unique restaurants and shops. It opens from 5 PM to 11 PM every Friday.

Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park

If you’re arriving in paradise, you have to do it in style. Boasting towering limestone karsts, Mu Ko Ang Thong National Marine Park became the background to some of the arrival scenes of hotel guests in the show.

Home to 42 islands, Mu Ko Ang Thong National Park was declared a marine national park in 1980. Some popular activities here include hiking, snorkeling, canoeing, kayaking, and beach bumming.

The White Lotus S03 only has one filming location in Bangkok, the legendary Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Featured in the show trailer, the riverside hotel’s Authors’ Lounge was one of the inspirations of the show’s writer. Its in-house bar, The Bamboo Bar, also appeared in the series. Don’t forget to try The White Lotus cocktail when you visit!

When she’s not writing, Ina’s busy curating playlists that will save her when words don’t work, reading, annoying her cat, or thinking of her next meal.
