With a gorgeous view as its backdrop, the University of Cape Town is the oldest university in South Africa, with its main teaching campus, known as the Upper Campus, sitting in the slopes of Devil’s Peak. In 1928, the university moved to its current location at Groote Schuur with a Classical Revival style used as the inspiration for its buildings’ architecture.
