Not as big as either Chaweng or Lamai, but has its own charm. Silver Beach may be small, but it is a destination that allows you to escape the crowds. The soft and whitish sand, and the turquoise waters add up to make for a nice day out. Work on your tan or take a dip to cool off.

 

How to Go

There are direct flights from Bangkok to Koh Samui. Alternatively, you can get to the island from Krabi via a bus and ferry combo; the fare for this option is around THB500. You can look for tickets in one of the many travel agencies in Krabi.
