Kanha

This is the largest National Park in Madhya Pradesh, encompassing almost 2,000 square kilometers. The landscape is so lush and the wildlife so plentiful that Kanha was actually one of the inspirations for Rudyard Kipling’s momentous Jungle Book! If you’re looking for a respite from the pollution of Philippine cities, the picturesque Kanha jungles are a welcome reprieve. Here you can find several types of deer (barasingha, chital, sambar, etc.), along with several types of endangered species such as the bison. Of course, there are tigers, too!
